About Me
Swiji is an Algerian composer and sound designer crafting unique music and immersive soundscapes for games and media. His journey began in 2016 using FL Studio in his bedroom at just 15, where he remade his favorite songs to understand melody and emotion. By 2018, he committed seriously to his craft, driven by a love for storytelling through sound.
Despite lacking professional gear and often working with only earphones and tiny budgets, he pushed through — proving that creativity and grit matter more than tools. In 2023, he began collaborating with indie developers from Reddit, taking on professional projects and entering music competitions. He was offered a sound design role for the Gnome Woods trailer but chose to walk away for personal principles.
His work includes game soundtracks, a widely praised re-score of the John Wick trailer, and a kids’ version of “Itsy Bitsy Spider.” He also delivered sound design for Amwaj Construction Company and joined the 12 Images Of Music project twice — the second time while battling burnout, still managing to contribute two heartfelt tracks. His first game, Bear With Us, made with team P1, was voted most accessible and best Bear game of the cycle.
Now working with two teams and building his own website, Swiji continues to grow — fueled by passion, integrity, and a belief in sound as a powerful storytelling tool.
